  • Camp I: June 3- June 9
  • Camp II: June 24 – June 30
  • Camp III: July 8 – July 14
  • Advanced Camp: July 22 – July 26
  • Archery Camp: July 29 – August 2

Camp Costs

  • Recommended Ages: 9-16, boys and girls
  • Camps I-III: $650 per session
  • Archery Camp: $350 (ages 12-17)
  • Advanced Camp: $350 (ages 12-17)

Special Camp Activities

Our outdoor youth camps include a lot of activities and educational programs, but we emphasize outdoor skills, hunter safety, and wildlife studies. Some of the activities that we offer during camp include:

Our camp programs and activities include numerous industry experts, instructors, and camp visitors. Some of these include:

  • Primos Hunting Calls,
  • Frank Massey, USDA Predator Control Specialist
  • National Guard Drug Interdiction Team
  • Alligator Tagging/Control Agents
  • MDWFP Law Enforcement Agents
  • Natural Science Museum Staff
  • MDWFP Biologist/Fisheries Representatives

Camp Video

Check-in time for Summer Camps I, II, and III is 5 pm Sunday. Depart 10 AM Saturdays (DVD Awards program begins sharply at 10 am). Archery Camp Check-in time 5 pm Saturday and Depart 10 am Wednesday.

All Tara Camps are Licensed by Mississippi Department of Health
